Last Sunday we hooked up Maple X to the back of the truck and headed north on I-985 towards Clayton, GA, home of the Wander North Georgia store. Along the way, we noticed dozens of campers and trailers heading South which piqued our curiosity as to what the big attraction might have been. Upon arriving in the amazing town of Clayton, we quickly realized that the small town itself was the attraction. With Tallulah State Park right down the road, it’s no wonder that so many people flock there on the weekends.
Once we got into Clayton, we made our way to the store amidst the other local shops on the town’s main street. Just a block from our parking spot, we entered the store and were instantly impressed! This store was amazing; it’s clean, well organized, uncluttered and even has a rec room in the back with bocci ball and corn hole.
For a store this size to have all the product we could ask for and have so much room for activities while not feeling cramped was quite a feat. Speaking of the size, they’re expanding soon!
Everyone at Wander North Georgia was friendly and happy to shoot the breeze with us while we shopped around.
The store has a sizeable amount of high-quality Wander North Georgia branded goods at reasonable prices. Going home with just a couple of shirts and decals was difficult for us as we honestly wanted it all!
Alongside their branded products, the store also sold plenty of other unique gifts and products from local companies. In addition to the store, the team at Wander North Georgia has an extremely impressive blog and Instagram account, as well as a social club which you can join to become a part of the crew.
We ended our visit to the store by giving them a quick tour of Maple X. Afterwards, we headed off to see what other gems North Georgia had to offer, thanks to their recommendation. If you’re looking for a reason to visit the awesome town of Clayton, make sure to stop in and see our friends at Wander North Georgia!
